Invitation to the virtual seminar „Hydrogen: Dutch experience and cooperation opportunities with Estonia“

The Ministry of the Environment of Estonia and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands are inviting you to the virtual seminar „Hydrogen: Dutch experience and cooperation opportunities with Estonia“ on Thursday, 11 June 2020 at 15:00-16:40 (Estonian time) / 14:00-15:40 (Dutch time).

The potential of hydrogen as a solution for energy and climate related challenges is widely discussed topic in civil society, business, academic and political circles in Europe. Stakeholders in Estonia are looking for ways to translate the potential of hydrogen to work for Estonia. The Netherlands has already taken steps to improve the business climate for hydrogen.

By initiating this seminar the organisers would like to showcase the Netherlands’ experience in expanding the share of hydrogen in the energy mix and to explore the potential for further cooperation between the two countries. Joining forces allows us to be faster, smarter and stronger.

An analysis, commissioned by the State Chancellery on the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment, along with proposals concerning the transitions to climate neutral economy and solutions thereof in Estonia, will be completed by the fall.
