|
|
Tomorrow, on September 26, at 14 o`clock, a voluminous and colourful Estonian Climate-Radiation Guide will be presented in the atrium of the Ministry of the Environment.
Ms. Viivi Russak from the Tartu Observatory, and Mr. Ain Kallis from the Estonian Meteorological and Hydrological Institute composed the guide.
The guide is the summary of sun radiation measurements done by Estonian meteorologists during half the century and should interest a number of representatives of many professions, including farmers, architects, engineers and medics.
The sun is the driving force for all the processes that take place in the earth`s atmosphere and the transformer of weather on our planet.
The information, presented in the book, helps to understand the changes that have occurred in the weather and sun radiation conditions during the last decades.
