The
committee of experts lead by Mr Jaanus Tuusti, Director General of
the National Nature Conservation Centre, gathered at Nõva
today.
The objective of the committee is to analyse further

The

Nõva Hunting District of the State Forest Management Centre
and the National Nature Conservation Centre in monitoring the coast
and collecting birds.
The
committee approved of the decision to set up a rehabilitation centre
for birds in Keila in the premises of the institution belonging to
the area of goverment of the Ministry of the Environment. A help
centre brought into Estonia with the help of the International Fund
for Animal Welfare will be also installed in the centre.
The
Ministry of the Environment asked the Director General of the
National Nature Conservation Centre to form a task force for helping
birds in order to ensure the best possible help to birds and
coordinate the work of institutions and volunteers involved in
helping birds. The task force for helping birds will meet today at
15:00 in the Ministry of the Environment.
